Repairs & Upgrades

With water restrictions now becoming a regular practice implemented by the city or districts, many people with older irrigation systems are running into issues. Many systems were installed with the lawn and garden zones being combined onto the same valve. And once stage 1 or 2 water restrictions come in, their gardens are only getting watered once a week or not at all during stage 2. There are upgrades that can be done to either try and separate the zones, or add a new valve into the system so that your garden can continue to get the water it needs to flourish.

Along with this, other repair needs in an irrigation system can arise from various issues. Leaking pipes can result from damage or wear, while broken sprinkler heads may occur due to impacts from lawnmowers or other objects. Clogged nozzles or emitters might impede water flow, and faulty valves can cause under- or over-watering in specific zones. Problems with the irrigation controller, such as programming errors or electrical issues, can disrupt watering schedules. Additionally, issues like backflow preventer malfunctions, pressure problems, freeze damage in winter, root intrusion, or electrical failures can necessitate repairs. Regular maintenance and inspection help identify these issues early, preventing more significant problems and ensuring continued system effectiveness.
